A place of peace and meeting

This point on the Miller's Trail connects the natural environment of the Krkonoše Mountains with history and culture. It was created as a project supporting the local community and tourism - with the aim of creating a place of rest, social gatherings and a new attraction for visitors .
Stone sidewalks, benches, information boards and a stone "Throne of the Spirit of the Mountains" were built on the area, which commemorates the legendary ruler of the Krkonoše Mountains - Liczyrzepa.

Monument to the hidden paintings of Jan Matejko

The area also includes a memorial plaque commemorating the dramatic wartime fates of the works of the prominent Polish painter Jan Matejko .
His paintings were hidden in Przesieka during World War II and rediscovered in 1945. The monument was unveiled on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the regaining of Polish independence , the 450th anniversary of the Union of Lublin , and the 125th anniversary of the artist's death .

The spirit of the mountains as a symbol

The dominant feature of the space is a stone throne , symbolically dedicated to the Spirit of the Mountains – the mythical protector of the Krkonoše Mountains. It has become a popular place for photography and a short stop along the way.
Today, the space serves not only tourists but also locals – as a center for community life, relaxation, and integration .

Importance for the local community

The project was implemented in cooperation with the Przesieka Renovation Council . Thanks to it, the village gained not only a place to relax, but also an important element of local identity and tourist offer .
The attractiveness of the village has increased and visitors can obtain information about history, nearby attractions, or just enjoy a moment of peace in a pleasant environment.
