intro

The place where the East meets the Giant Mountains

At this place, a surprise awaits you that at first glance does not belong in the mountains - the Siruwia Japanese Garden , nicknamed "Little Japan". Oriental plants and motifs of the East create a harmonious whole with the Krkonoše nature. On one side of the trail you discover the quiet beauty of the garden, on the other spreads the playful world of the Japanese park for children , with climbing frames, slides and rope towers.

The highest Japanese garden in Poland

Siruwia is unique in that it is located at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, which makes it the highest garden of its kind in Poland . It will impress not only with its composition combining the Krkonoše and Asian flora, but also with its thematic exhibitions.

Samurai Museum and unique collections

The complex also includes the Museum "Samurai - Knight of Ancient Japan" , where you will find one of the largest private collections of Japanese armor in Poland. On display are original exhibits from the Edo period (17th-19th centuries) , replicas and a rarity of world importance - an 800-year-old Tachi sword from the Kamakura period .

Another highlight is the collection of Japanese dolls (nihon ningyō) . These dolls are seen in Japan as lucky charms, protectors of children and mystical objects that accompany their owner throughout their lives. A collection brought directly from Japan is on display in Siruwia.

A world of flavors and bonsai

The authenticity of the experience is underlined by a Japanese café , where you can taste traditional specialties, and a shop with original Japanese products.

Garden lovers will be dazzled by the Art Museum Bonsai with its rich collection of miniature trees, some of which are over 100 years old. These bonsai are regularly presented at prestigious horticultural exhibitions.

Flowers that take your breath away

Siruwia also boasts an impressive collection of rhododendrons – around 3,000 bushes in 80 varieties . Together with other species, they form a perfect connection between the Krkonoše environment and oriental aesthetics, in accordance with the principles of feng shui .
